More than a simple artist, Tova is also a recovering academic whose preferred method of self-medication is laughter.

Her debut film - a comedy about being depressed - won official awards. Unofficially, audiences said “this is so relatable.”

Amy Poehler sponsored Tova’s solo show which premiered at The Tank NYC as part of the International Human Rights Art Festival.

Tova is an alum of Northwestern University’s Theatre PhD and Harvard University’s Mellon School of Theatre and Performance.

She lives in NYC with her husband and his well-behaved cello.
