Voted “Least Likely To Engage in Petty Drama” in the 12th grade, Tova now creates drama for the stage and screen.

Her debut film - a comedy about being depressed - won official awards. Unofficially, audiences said “this is so relatable.”

Amy Poehler sponsored Tova’s solo comedy show which premiered in New York as part of the International Human Rights Art Festival.

Tova holds a PhD in Theatre from Northwestern University. She is an alumnus of Harvard University’s Mellon School of Theatre and Performance and Carleton College.

Tova lives in NYC with her husband and his well-behaved cello. She dreams of no longer having a website.
